Our Team

Our team is the backbone of our company.

The high quality care we consistently provide to dozens of children, every day, would not be possible without our passionate, hard working, committed staff team.

We continue to strengthen existing, as well as invest in new and innovative approaches to ensure our staff are looked after, motivated and get the support, guidance and training they need to enable them fulfil their roles and better equip them for meeting their developmental and progression aspirations.

What We Offer

Training & Development

We provide staff with thorough onboarding and regular support and training to ensure they are able to perform their roles comfortably and effectively and are have the resources available to meet their development and progression goals.



Monthly Awards Programme

We hold an exciting monthly awards programme were nurseries compete with each other to execute the most engaging, innovative activities with their children around a topical theme. There is a monthly certificate and prize for the winner and runner up!



Team Away Days

A few times a year, we go an exciting all company team building/inset day. The theme is often consistent with our vision, mission and values and is a blend of activities/workshop/social with lunch provided. And yes, all staff are paid for the day as normal!



Retail Discounts

All staff get access to a generous staff discount programme that includes big name as well as smaller retailers as well as activities including cinema, bowling etc. The discount level varies, but there is for sure something for everyone!



Day Off For Birthday

Take your birthday on us! Yes, you read that correctly. Purple Jay Nurseries give every staff member the day off their birthday that they can choose to spend however they want. The day off does not count against staffs holiday allowance.



Healthcare Cover

We offer comprehensive healthcare cover which not only includes most of the things you would expect, but also provides a virtual GP service and coverage for non-conventional treatment like Reiki, meditation, yoga & massage!
